Star Wars®: Empire At War App Reviews

Have just started playing this and there is immediately a problem: Ground units seem to be completely ignoring orders. They rush in and fight anything within sight regardless of what you tell them to do. Ive asked them to guard an area, they ignore it. Ive tried to pull them back from fighting when they are hopelessly outnumbered, they ignore it. If they somehow manage to survive, they run off again and start fighting the next thing they come across. Please sort this out and I will be happy to post a more positive review!

I know it is mentioned in the Description ... but this Game definately needs MP ! Please add Multiplayer !! Then it becomes an 5 Star Game for Sure !

This game just takes my breath. When i play it multy player its just the hit. 8 people no computers play against each other, every one does differaint jobs to win. The only let down is then only the local multi player it would be cool to play on the internet this, so i dont need to envite anyone to my house to play!!

Awesome game! Fun gameplay, and heavily stratigic. The cinema view really adds that extra "Star Wars" feel to it! I love that. Sadly it did currupt my saved Rebellion file, so I was forced to be part of the Empire. Bottom line though, the force is strong in this game. Lol

Exellent game. Hoping to see them eventually come out with the "Forces of Corruption" expansion as well. Loading times are a bit longer than PC, but game experience overall is great. A must have classic for a Star Wars fan.

This is an extremely fun game for Star Wars fans (especially due to the ability to control Jedi/Sith and their abilities)! In terms of performance, I am running this game on my 2011 MacBook Air at max settings with no issues whatsoever.

When I updated it to 1.0.8 every time I open it, it says empire at war is damaged and that I have to buy it again!!!!!! :( And the support on the Aspyr website is not helpful at all. :( But it was a great game before I updated five stars if my problem was fixed.

empire at war is a great game on its own, dont get me wrong on that, but one thing that would make it exponentially better if they adapted a version of the forces of corruption expansion pack, if they put it it up, they wont regret it

Realtively fun game, requires a lot of waiting around to build soldiers and all that, so sometimes its not very engaging. Also it crashes at the height of battle quite often. I woudnt buy from this company again.

Ive had hours of entertainment playing this game. Would love an online multiplayer update, but if not, thats ok too! Worth every penny!

This is a very good game. If you are a fan of Star Wars or just RTSs in general you will like this game. The real time moves add an extra challange. The game does suffer from a lack of right click so if you are playing without a mouse it will be a little hard to move units around. Nothing game breaking though. All in all, a verry good game.

Great game should add forces of corruption update

I paid for this game. The install seemed to have issues, so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall again. Now the app store is askng for 29.99 again from me. Poorly ported game, terrible service.

Game wouldnt work everytime i went to play it would crash.

The game works perfectly on my 2012 13 inch macbook pro on high settings, and i have experienced no problems after hours of playing.

This is a great game if you want to have some fun by your self. But as soon as you want to go online, you cant! This is a serious problem if you want to have some fun with your friends. They should make an update so you can play online, But all in all a great game!

I got this game about 4 days ago and played it lots, and never had a problem or trouble! I’m playing it on my Mac book pro 2.4 GHz For Star Wars fans of the Original Movies (4,5,6) a must have!! and also goes into some detail of the expanded star wars galaxy, one of my favorite games right up with battle front. If you like controlling, building and playing with a challenge! Don’t look any further!
