This game is really good, but when you try to play single player galactic conquest, the game crashes constantly. Do not buy until this is resolved!!!

This is an awesome game that takes me back to my childhood whenever I boot it up. However, it has a major issue with full screen - it launches, but the app only takes up as much space as it does when launched in a window, and the cursor calibration is about two inches low as a result of this issue. Basically, it makes the games unplayable in full screen. It would be great if this could be fixed.

i cannot download this game. it says that it is damaged and that i have to redownload the game.

The game is a great strategy game and is one of my favorite games to play. The only thing is the controls. When I want a unit to go to a location without attacking an enemy its almost impossible. The unit can attack the enemy and destroy itself which is very frustrating. Please add a control to move a unit without attacking enemies along the way.

This is a great game. The AI is good, the graphics are decent, the cenimatic mode is awesome, the maps are varied, the combat is fun, and it is endlessly replayable. GET THIS GAME! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!

When I first purchased this game, I was afraid that I would only play it for a little while, then I would forget it. This was not the case. Even though I forgot about it for two years, I came back to it, and enjoyed it even more than I had when I first played it. Although there are some obvious bugs, like the lethargic Bothans on the Planet Bothan, or the scroll-jam glitch in the galactic map, these bugs do not make the game unplayable, and can be solved without any expert assistance. This game is one of the best RTS games on the market. It has beautiful graphics, amazing end-movie scenes, and epically realistic game-play. It’s seems exactly like how the wars would have been fought in Star Wars if they were real. I strongly reccommend this game to any RTS fan. And hopefully they will release the expansion Thrawn’s Revenge soon.

I like very much the game but I would really like to see the version of the clone wars era because I have seen videos about one mod but in mac its imposible to have it so I will really like you to make one for mac. Please do it I really would like to see that or even make another game of republic at war.

Ive never had a program crash my computer so many times! Every update seems to introduce a new issue, the latest crash inducing action is using the Death Star to destroy a planet, which crashes my computer every time! Great game, but Aspyr does a piss poor job w/updates.

Empire at War and the Forces of Corruption pack were some of my favorite Star Wars games of all time. I was thrilled when I saw it in the App Store, and couldn’t wait to play it! I opened it, I set my video preferences to max, played and played, and when I went to restart it a few days later - nothing. No video, no ability to use the interface, just a black screen. When I went to uninstall and reinstall, the App Store asked me for another $19.99 to reinstall the game. To say I’m upset would be an understatment. I’m glad that others were able to use the game. I am not. And I can’t recommend that anyone else purchase this game either.

This game is simply just great. It just plays and feels great, when your in a massive space battle with star destroyers and mon calamari cruisers blasting at each other, whilst fighters weave and wave in cool dogfights, or your on the ground commadning a massive troupe of stormtroopers firing desperately against some rebel defenses. It might not have the expansion pack yet, but until then this game can be modded, and I have had a ton of fun playing AEM 5.1 in this game, which adds a whole ton of new ships, units, planets, and structures to the game, so its kind of like a free expansion pack. This game is a 5 out 5 in my book, and even better with the AEM 5.1 mod installed.

Only thing i dont like is that ASPYR did not make it online.. Once the game is online i will make it a 5 star you cant starve this game of its wonderfull online gamepla…...

For any Star Wars fans out there, this game is a must-buy. I was hesitant at first to buy it due to how old it the game is, but I am very glad I did. The graphics look great on my 13” Retina Macbook Pro and the sounds are very true to the game (save the voices). Everytime I play this game I desperately want to watch the original Star Wars trilogy. The only reason why I don’t give this game a 5-star rating is because the game has frozen on me a couple times during the campaign where I had to restart my Macook to play again. This hasn’t happened to me often though. The game could use an update focusing on stability issues. Other than that one gripe, this game is totally worth the $20 and I highly recommend it. I absolutely love this game!

I used to play this for windows and am disappointed that online multiplayer isnt available but its not lost any of the fun……I only wish that the Forces of Corruption Expansion was available as well…..

Ok so I it is an old game and it is star wars, which is awesome. I think the last RTS game for Star Wars before this was Galactic Battle grounds so yeah if you are looking for the newest Star Wars RTS this is it. I got it origianlly for PC but could never find the expansion. I bought it again for my mac because I remember how many hours I spent playing it. However, it begins to grow old after several games because its the same stratagey over and over again. Even though it is an RTS it seems to become linear after a while. Sure their are some Random side missions that pop up here and their that are cool to try and do but let’s be realistic, I’m not going after a side mission when the Rebels have a bunch of Mon Calamari Cruisers waiting for me … that is just dumb. Anyways if you are considering buying this game I would wait until the include the expansion pack. The expansion pack adds a third faction which I think would make the game less repetative because with three factions you don’t know who is going to be the bigger threat so it will force you to be more adaptable. However if you are a huge Star Wars fan I would so just go for it and grab the expansion if or when they make it because to be honest those space battle are always a blast for me, especcially if I am bringing a ton of Star Destroyers and Victory Class Destroyers up a against a massive fleet and a fully upgrded space station … You can probably tell I like the Empire more. Over all its a good game but when it comes to the galactic stratagy it gets repatitve. You go for the same planets over and over again each play through. Because they hace the same resources, bonuses, or strategic location every time. And you do that while also trying bolster your frontline planets to repel any attack the other side might throw at you. Yeah its fun but worth $20 I don’t think so if it goes on sale yeah go for it. I hope this helped!

i had this game for pc it was the forces of corruption version and it was amazing but this is almost as good. i still love it though due to it almost being the same thing. but there is at least one problem i found and i found it on my very first land battle and that is the mouse turned invisable which makes i kinda impossable to play but that is only problem i have had. but overall i would highly recommed.

I be tthis game would be fun if only Aspyr would support thier products. The game is buggy, and Aspyr will not assist with fixes in any way whatsoever. Don’t waste your money on ANY Aspyr Titles
